The family home we built for ourselves, from design to finish. Our design was born out of practicality and necessity. We were living in a camper while building full time so needing to move in as quickly as possible. We designed the home in the shape of an H, two wings with an adjoining corridor. The first wing includes two bathrooms, three bedrooms and the mechanical room. This allowed us to use the plumbing fitted for a future bathroom as temporary kitchen so we could  live in phase 1 while finishing the second kitchen/living wing the following spring as phase 2.
